BorinGS uses output templates to customize the output for a given log. The same data can be presented in different ways, without modifying the data, using these templates.
A basic set of templates is included with BorinGS (shown in the
lower left portion of the main program window); the predefined
templates have parentheses around the name. These templates are
suitable for basic output of a boring log, a boring log with laboratory
data, a blank field log, and a well-completion log with laboratory
data. You can see these templates in the lower left portion of
the main program window shown below.
The default templates may be edited after making a copy: right
click on the template and select, "Copy Template." Enter the new
desired template name and it will appear in the list of available
templates. Once the copy is made, you can customize the columns
used in the output, basic page settings (such as titles, the amount of
log printed per page, etc.), and default fence log settings.
For more information regarding editing templates, see Editing Columns, Editing Page Settings, and Editing Fence Settings in the
"Editing Templates" section.
